The series follows the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident and the beginning of Kenjaku’s Culling Game. Yuji Itadori is facing execution, while Satoru Gojo remains incapacitated after being sealed. Kenjaku’s larger plan involves the evolution of humanity and the eradication of ordinary humans. The Culling Game then forces Yuji, Megumi, Maki and the other sorcerers into a new phase of conflict. Episode 4 specifically shifts the focus to Maki’s personal battle with her clan.
