Frequently asked questions
Is EpicAnime free to use? Yes. Browsing, searching, and watching are free. No subscription, no paywall.
Do I need an account? No account is required to watch. We may add optional accounts later for saving lists or commenting — if we do, this page will be updated.
Why won’t an episode play? A couple of common causes: the embedded server is temporarily down, your ad blocker is interfering with the player, or your browser needs a refresh. If an episode has more than one server listed, try switching servers before anything else — that fixes it most of the time.
What’s the difference between Sub and Dub? Sub means the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. Dub means an English (or other language) voice track replacing the original audio. Not every episode has both — we show whichever the source server provides.
How often is the site updated? New episodes and titles are added as they become available. Check the homepage’s “Latest updates” and “New added” sections for what’s just gone up.
Can I request an anime that isn’t listed yet? Yes — use the Contact page and include the title (and alternate titles, if it has any). We can’t guarantee every request gets added, but we do read them.
Do you host the videos yourselves? No. EpicAnime embeds players from third-party sources and doesn’t store or host video files. See our DMCA and Terms pages for details.
I found a bug or a broken poster/link — how do I report it? Contact us with the title and a quick description (or a screenshot, if you have one). That’s the fastest way for us to catch it.
Is EpicAnime affiliated with [X] streaming service or studio? No. We’re an independent, fan-run site with no official affiliation to any studio, licensor, or streaming platform.
