DMCA / copyright policy

EpicAnime respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the site to do the same.

What we do — and don’t — host. EpicAnime does not host, store, or upload any video files. Episode pages embed players from third-party sources; those servers, not EpicAnime, host the actual video content. If you’re a rights holder and believe a third-party server is infringing your copyright, the most direct route is often to contact that server/host directly.

That said, we take copyright seriously and will act on valid takedown notices concerning links or embeds shown on this site.

Filing a DMCA takedown notice

If you believe content linked or embedded on EpicAnime infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [dmca@epicanime.com] that includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  3. Identification of the specific material on EpicAnime you claim is infringing, including the exact page URL(s);
  4. Your contact information — name, address, phone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you’re the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

What happens next. Upon receiving a complete and valid notice, we’ll review it and, where warranted, remove or disable the reported link or embed on the site within a reasonable timeframe. We may also reach out for clarification if the notice is incomplete.

Counter-notices. If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with comparable information to the above, explaining why you believe the removal was a mistake.

Repeat infringement. We reserve the right to restrict access for users who repeatedly submit content or requests found to infringe others’ rights.
